Today, there was a meeting about all the details concerning it :) Besides being tired, it got me very excited about the trip. It made me want to learn Spanish right away. ;) Which I should be getting caught up on some of it, just so I will be able to communicate with those kids who steal your heart <3 class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">VBS near the end of it but also, a lot of hard work.. which to be honest.. I have done only once for one day on one trip.
It was in Morocco and we were taking shovels, digging up the dirt and chipping away at it with big picks. They told us at the time that we would be planting a 'garden'.. :D some garden! We dug at least a foot just to get the ground broke up. But that all is a different story.
So, in the D.R. we will be brick laying and building things of that such. But besides the work, the culture is going to sweep me off my feet. :) I just know it. I still do need about 275 dollars for it so if you feel led to give, great! But in the mean time, I may be getting a job here this week.. not sure how much I will be working or what I will be doing or how much I will be making either,..but it will help :) Please be praying that money and preparation will come for this trip.
