Temple tours

So this is a suprise that Im doing an update so quick ;)

Today, our school went to a muslim Islamic temple and a Buddhist temple. We have been learning about different religions recently. It always has fascinated me. We watched the muslims pray and asked questions. I felt as if I was back in Morocco again!! :D I was very excited to be in a Mosque again. I went into a couple when I was in Morocco, but I never minded being woke up at 5 am to prayers. To be honest, I love arabic music. Its so beautiful. But the voices who do their prayers 5x a day just makes my heart leap. I think its just because I love to listen to different kinds of music. But this is different, it has no rythm, but the ups and the downs of the voice is so gorgeous. Ok enough about my obsession with that. But that part of my day I enjoyed very much so.

We also went to a Buddhist temple, it was very interesting. Im going to throw something random in there, the lady who was talking about it, I could tell she was from New Jersey. So when she asked if we had questions, that was the first one I asked haha :) But anyways, thats besides the point.

I would have to say that I enjoy learning about different religions because it helps me to meet with them where they are at. Its always intriguing to me. There is no point to sit and argue who is right and who is wrong. No point. There is also no point in sitting there and thinking you are right, when you dont want to learn about what everyone else believes. I used to be ignorant and not care because I was so caught up in what is right. Im not saying that its bad to think that your right, its just bad when you start to argue or just sit in your own way of things and not even want to know whats going on outside the world? I hope that makes sense in the best way possible.
